There are plenty of reasons to smile when you live in Emerald and Blackwater. We should know – Central Highlands Dental was set up on Egerton Street over 20 years ago by Dr Warren Wells as Egerton Street Dental Surgery. Dr Brad Stanley came on the scene in 1995, working for Dr. Wells for the next 5 years, he then bought the practice outright in January 2000.

Since then Dr Brad has expanded and modernised the dental surgery. Dr Christy Bellarmine joined Emerald Dental Group in 2007. Dr Brad and Dr Christy regularly attend Continuing Education Conferences to further enhance their skills and improve on the services we can provide to our patients.

Dr Brad Stanley

Principal Dentist, Emerald and Blackwater

Dr. Brad Stanley has been proudly servicing the Central Highlands for 20 years.

Graduating from the University of Queensland School of Dentistry in 88’, he began his Dental career here in Emerald for 3 years before moving onto Yeppoon and Gold Coast. He relocated back to Emerald working for Dr. Wells before taking over as Principle Dentist at Emerald Dental Group.

Dr. Stanley’s special interests are aesthetic dentistry. He is constantly enhancing his knowledge by attending educational courses such as, studies in Computerized Dentistry – Cerec, Smile Reconstructions, Invisalign.

In 2006 Dr. Stanley became a member of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies under the watchful eye of his mentor and friend, Dr. Anne-Maree Cole. He is also a member of the ADA (Australian Dental Association).

Dr. Brad Stanley established Blackwater Dental Group in September 2012 to provide dental services to the Blackwater community and surrounding areas.

In 2019 Dr. Stanley founded Central Highlands Dental, an amalgamation of Emerald and Blackwater Dental Groups under one banner.

Dr Christy Bellarmine

Dentist, Emerald and Blackwater

Dr. Christy Bellarmine graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from India’s Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 99’.

Dr. Bellarmine moved to Australia in 05’, successfully completeing the exams conducted by the Australian Dental Council in 06’. Dr. Bellarmine joined the team at Emerald Dental Group in January 2007, and has since become an Australian Citizen.

Dr. Bellarmine started the orthodontic course conducted by ‘Progressive Orthodontic Seminar’ in 2011, also completing an Interceptive Orthodontics course. Successfully graduating, she has now introduced Traditional Orthodontics into the Emerald Dental Group practice since 2012.

Dr. Bellarmine continues to strive in her field of practice by attending educational seminars to provide our team and patients with the highest quality treatments and information.
